Sharing is caring!

If you have recently gone and got the big chop you might be at a bit of loss as to what to do with your hair now.

I’ve been there myself.  When I did the big chop some years ago I don’t think I fully processed what I was doing because I was pregnant at the time so I had hormones all over the place.

I literally decided to one day go the whole hog and cut off all the relaxer out of my hair.  It was a pretty bold move at the time but guess what?

Once I was done I had absolutely no clue what to do with my hair afterwards.  I had no idea about hairstyles for natural short hair.  I guess you could say I went into the situation completely blind.

You see the thing is that when you are used to working with a particular length of hair and then all of a sudden it’s short you can easily feel at a bit of a loss as to what to do with it now.

Sound familiar?

Well, to help you out I’ve put together 11 attention-grabbing hairstyles for natural short hair that will you want to recreate for yourself.

Without any more delays, let’s go!

11 Hairstyles for natural short hair

1. The Tapered cut

Now, if you don’t think this style is drop off your seat kind of dope then I don’t know what is wrong with you (joking). This kind of hairstyle makes me want to start all over from the very beginning again.

Tapered haircuts are fun and playful and you can’t really go wrong with one.

There is just one small downside that you might want to consider.  If you want to keep your hair in this particular style you will need to become an avid hairdressers friend because you will need to keep the hairstyle fresh by getting it redone every couple of weeks.

Man, I love this style!  Sorry had to say it one more time.
